One of the new features, Editable Chats, allows users to edit their messages after sending them for up to five minutes, similar to WhatsApp’s message editing feature. Another intriguing feature introduced by Snapchat is My AI Reminders, which enables users to set reminders by simply sending a quick message to My AI with the event name, date, and time. Once the reminder is set, My AI initiates an in-app countdown and sends a notification when the countdown reaches zero. Additionally, Snap Map has been enhanced to allow users to react to other users’ locations with emojis, adding a fun and interactive element to the platform.
Among the new AI-powered features, Snapchat has introduced a Bitmoji outfit generator that utilizes AI to create custom outfits based on users’ preferences. Users can describe the desired outfit, and the AI will generate a selection of similar garments with unique patterns, colors, and designs. Furthermore, the ’90s AI Lens, a recent addition to Snapchat, applies creative effects reminiscent of the 90s era to images captured on the platform. This AI-powered filter automatically enhances images with retro aesthetics, adding a nostalgic touch to users’ photos.
Snapchat’s latest features aim to provide users with innovative ways to connect, express themselves, and stay organized in their daily lives. By leveraging AI technology, the platform continues to evolve and offer unique interactions that cater to a diverse user base.
